Getting started

Ambient Apps turns your website into an iPhone app that you publish under your own Apple Developer account. You are always the publisher; we build and submit the app for you.

The steps, in order:

1. Sign in and add your app: its name, your website (https only) and a bundle ID.
2. Design it: colours and native features. The preview shows your site inside a phone.
3. Prove you own the website.
4. Approve the App Store listing (AI can draft it).
5. Add your App Review details: a contact, a demo sign-in if your site has accounts, your privacy policy, the category and the age rating questions. You need them to submit, not to build.
6. Connect your Apple account with an App Store Connect API key.
7. Choose a plan and pay the one-time $99 setup fee for the app.
8. Start a build. It goes to TestFlight, then to App Review when you approve it.

Designing and previewing one app is free, with 3 free AI drafts. You only pay when you're ready to build.

You need an Apple Developer Program membership (Apple charges $99 a year for it). Ambient Apps is for customers in the United States for now, and builds iPhone apps only.
